Anakin: You see, your honor, my client’s job description clearly states that he was expected to come to work each day with, and I quote, “an upbeat, energetic attitude”. I can think of no better way to ensure that than by consuming large quantities of amphetamines. So his, uh, drug use, one could argue, was central to his career. He was simply trying to do his best. Now, is it unfortunate that the zoo animals escaped? Of course. But I would argue that the responsibility does not fall to my client, and the fact that he was streaking through the zoo at the time of the incident.
