I feel as if you don’t UNDERSTAND what’s going on. While the above is true, it’s extremely exaggerated. Here’s what’s actually going on: You know how TV works, right? If you have Comcast, you get certain channels, and if you have Direct TV, you get a whole other load of channels. Well, imagine that for the Internet. Depending on who your supplier is, you’re going to have access to some websites, and be blocked from others. You guys really don’t seem to understand that TUMBLR, FACEBOOK,TWITTER, YOUTUBE, even those sites you LOVE, that you think nobody knows about, will be OWNED BY THEM. You would have to CHOOSE BETWEEN MUSIC AND A SOCIAL LIFE, YOU COULD NEVER BE ABLE TO TALK TO ANY OF YOUR INTERNET FRIENDS EVER AGAIN, I DON’T CARE IF YOU HAVE TO MAKE A FUCKING ACCOUNT, YOU’RE GOING TO REBLOG THIS, AND YOU’RE GOING TO FUCKING SIGN THAT PETITION, OR YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED ON THE INTERNET, BECAUSE I DON’T WANT PEOPLE LIKE YOU TO INFECT THE ONE PLACE I’M SAFE.

I know it sounds like a lot of conspiracy theory but most of the information we get in America is filtered, pre-approved crap from the network of the government, hollywood, and the media sources like the TV or newspapers.

The internet is the last free place to get real information, if you know how to sort through the bullshit.
