the funny thing about the stuff i’ve been drawing recently (sketching rn, pics drawn to centuries a few days ago) is that it is the sort of stuff which if i put it in my visual art diary it would pretty much guarantee me an A

it is also the stuff which i am not showing to my art teacher under any circumstances

Tagsall i want out of my art is to make people feel like i felt when looking at the sistine chapel, also not showing my art teacher any of this even though she would love me saying my opinion + stuff, and i don't really readily show that to people i don't know??, and she seems to have no idea that this could be a thing, art isn't art it's meaning and intention and bullshit, as far as i can tell she doesn't realise this is not ok with some people??, bc my art and especially my development is a pretty personal thing, especially teachers i don't like, focus on exhibition + the work existing to be in a gallery/critically analysed, i don't have a story or a moral i just love to draw, i make art because i love doing it, keep ur everything has meaning what was your theme or idea or intention in this piece, the hell away from me, this is why i fail at the visual diary, we spent an entire double watching people's assignment films and critiquing them
