Friendly reminder that Texas doesn’t allow atheists to hold office.

Friendly reminder that many Texans believe that freedom of religion means freedom to be a christian or leave. I get told “if you don’t like it, leave! America was founded on christian principles long before you came along and atheism is un-American, you satan worshipper” at least 2x weekly. 

Well, it’s not like one of the founding fathers learned Koranic Arabic and another hosted a Ramadan celebration in the White House. Oh wait.
