Hot tip for europeans: when you need pain relief and you’re in the US don’t ask for paracetamol. Ask for acetaminophen, better known as tylenol. It’s the same shit.

If you need something for muscle pain or menstrual cramps, ask for ibuprofen (advil/motrin).

If you say paracetamol to an American they’re going to look at you like you’re a goddamn alien. We don’t know what that shit is because it is not available here.

Be careful though! If you are allergic to aspirin or NSAIDS do not take ibuprofen!! Acetaminophen on the other hand is aspirin free.

This too. Forgot to mention that part. Thanks, friend!

Another common NSAID is naproxen, so if you cannot take NSAIDS due to allergies or medication conflictions, that is also something to keep in mind.
