Hey guys, heads up just in case you didn’t know: The FCC’s website allows you to tell congress not to repeal Net Neutrality, however the way you get to the part where you actually write the letter is very convoluted and confusing (probably on purpose to keep people from taking the effort to do it). On John Oliver’s recent episode on Net Neutrality, he created a URL titled gofccyourself(dot)com that will take you past the search engine. All you have to do is click the button that says “+ express” and you’re there.

Normally I don’t ask people to reblog my posts because that can be very annoying, but in this case, I think it’s very important that people see this. If you’re seeing this post, you’re on the internet, which means Net Neutrality should be important to you. Don’t just assume that it isn’t going to get repealed because you think enough people want it to stay or because it’d be too hard to take down or anything else like that. Even if you don’t want to reblog this post for some reason, that’s fine, but don’t ignore other posts. Don’t ignore Net Neutrality, because whether you realize it or not, it is important to you.

Just in case anyone has trouble finding it (since it’s still pretty easy to miss)

listen either finn is gonna get w/ rey (interracial couple in a prominent film franchise, still relatively uncommon in modern media) or finn is gonna get w/ rose (interracial couple consisting of two people of color in a prominent film franchise, even LESS common in modern media) or finn is gonna get w/ poe (interracial QUEER couple consisting of two men of color in a prominent film franchise, unquestionably groundbreaking) so like, no matter who finn winds up with romantically, it’s all good, it’s all important from a representation standpoint, u can all have ur ship wars but i am excited to see who our lord and savior finn chooses and will support him no matter what

I’m really glad that KC Green’s work is being more widely recognized after the whole “This is not fine” comic came out.

He’s been in the comic making game for a really long time and he has…a bit of a knack for creating things that are used as reaction images and never credited back to him.

He’s a really cool guy and a great artist and I HIGHLY recommend following his work.

i feel like its important to add that hes also responsible for dickbutt. thats an important part of his resume

Some lesser known KC Green Career Highlights:

honestly I swear he’s like. the best at unintentionally making reaction images

He also did the “I guess!” comic, didn’t he?

We’ve all been fans of KC Green this whole time and never even knew

there’s also THIS classic, which is usually reduced to this:

for a reaction image

a majority of these comics come from KC’s Gunshow! It’s over now but it ran for a loooong time and has an amazing archive of his comics. I HIGHLY recommend reading through it all, it’s a goldmine

He’s currently working on a new comic called Back with Anthony Clark. It’s about a gunslinger named Abigail who is destined to bring about the end of the world, except she kind of just does her own thing. It’s very good and very funny!

yes Back is excellent and he also does a strange, dark comic about an anthropomorphic acorn, entitled He Is A Good Boy.

Every one of those reaction images is also 10x funnier in the context of their original comics.

homestuck is easily the worst possible webcomic to convince someone to get into if they only know other webcomics

“oh so how long did it run?”

for 7 years over 7 acts

“wow! so like one act per year?”

nah the 6th act ran for like 5 years and then the 7th act is literally one page

“oh, well how long is it by pages?”

like over 10,000 pages, and a bunch of them are fucking loaded with just a bunch of reading

“holy fuck! well at least did it have a good resolution?”

not really, the whole point of the story was that stories don’t matter and the whole ending was meant to self-awaredly retcon everything to be good. plus some of us are convinced it isn’t even over yet.

“okay well at least tell me it’s easy to follow”

turn back now my friend

YA novel idea: in a world where everyone is born with a countdown with how many french fries they are allowed to eat before death, one young man (me) is born with an infinity symbol

He grows up thinking it’s an 8 so he never eats any fries. He’s teased and taunted by the High Fry kids. Then he eats his first fry on his 18th birthday. His number doesn’t change, but the rest of his world does…
