I believe the point was that the “I ♥ boobies” ‘campaign’ was mainly funded by the purchases of occasionally (depending on the wearer and intent) ignorant males (mainly guys our age) who thought the catch phrase “I ♥ boobies” was their own personal motto, yes this “campaign” did end up saving many many loved breasts but as a girl who has been around the idiots who bought the bracelets and other merchandise because “tits are great” the campaign got offensive, it became sexist, it became a manpaign.
