People are losing their fire and forgetting about Ferguson. That’s exactly what the police want, though: for all of this to just go away and for people to forget about it.
Don’t let that happen.
trans kids are still so unsafe. black people still haven’t gotten justice. mexico’s children are still missing. hong kong is still protesting. the taliban are still at large. there are countless injustices happening all over the world right at this minute. 2015, please don’t let us down.
I want a fucking movement.
I want protests and laws and reforms and programs for trans and nonbinary rights.
I want transgender and nonbinary deaths to make just as many people angry as it did for Micheal Brown or Eric Garner.
I want more people to be educated on how gender works so we never have to have another slaughter like this again.
Make a big fucking deal about this. Don’t shut up about it. Give these deaths meaning. Give the world hell.
